Downloading a single file with wget

Using Wget, it is possible to grab a large chunk of data, or mirror an entire website, including its (public) folder structure, using a single command.

Sites get shut down, censored, acquired, re-designed or just lost. This idea originates from the data hoarder community on Reddit, where the process of making archives for fun is nothing new.
