I put a naval mod on which had one unit in it it did not work because of another naval units mod.I put a mod on worked fine with another similer mod .Press turn tab game froze, unticked mod ok.You might have same issues.I suggest you untick all mods say 300 spartans , start new game and see if it works.If works put other mods on one at a time and start new game each time to see if it stills works.
